Born: 1955
Birthplace: Shanghai, China
Education
Early Training: Take private (Famous Artists) painting lessons for both
Chinese and Western art from childhood.
Formal Education
Shanghai Normal University: Studied in the Art Department.
Shanghai Nanshi Institute of Education: Majored in Industrial Design.
Central Academy of Arts and Design, China: Furthered Mural Art education.
Career
1981: Painting teacher at Shanghai Commercial College’s Advertising and Decoration
Department (one of the founders of the department);
1984: Art editor at China Record Company (Shanghai)and Audio and Video
Magazine;
1988: Moved to San Francisco, USA, to continue his career in art;
1989: Work for New Details (an artistic and creative ceramic painting studio)
1993: Manager - Nan Hai Art Center and Gallery;
1995: East Art Studio (Owner);
1996: Manager -Ting ShaoKuang Art Center;
2000: Initiated and participated in the Shanghai Grand Theater mural project.
Exhibitions and Awards
His works have been exhibited in Chinese and Western art exhibitions and have won several awards.
